Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh konsumsi tablet zat besi (Fe) dengan Tablet Fe dan madu terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada siswi dengan anemia. Penelitian merupakan quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan two group pretest and posttest.  Penelitian dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Fathul Azmi Kabupaten Pandeglang - Banten. Kelompok pertama adalah siswi hanya konsumsi tablet Fe setiap hari Selasa. Kelompok kedua adalah siswi konsumsi tablet Fe setiap hari Selasa dan madu sebanyak 2x 5mL setiap hari. Responden setiap kelompok terdiri dari 15 siswi. Kadar hemoglobin diukur menggunakan alat digital Penelitian dilakukan dengan selama satu bulan. Hasil ukur hemoglobin sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan Uji T Dependent. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kadar hemoglobin siswi pada kelompok konsumsi tablet Fe saja rata-rata 1,5 gr% ± 0,35857 dan peningkatan kadar hemoglobin siswi pada kelompok konsumsi tablet Fe dan Madu rata-rata 2,0gr% ± 0,70508. Ada pengaruh signifikan peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada kedua kelompok uji. Madu merupakan variabel yang meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada penelitian ini.
