Abstract

Sikap merupakan bentuk persepsi seseorang terhadap suatu objek yang di gambarkan dengan ekspresi suka ataupun tidak. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan sikap siswa terhadap tiga indikator sikap di SMPN 10 Muaro Jambi. Metode Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian kuantitatif survey. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket dan juga wawancara. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 117 siswa SMP 10 Muaro Jambi dengna rincian laki-laki sebanyak 42 siswa dan perempuan 75 siswa. Hasil penelitaian menunjukkan bahwa pada sikap yang dimiliki oleh siswa dominan pada kategori baik. Sikap terhadap penyelidikan dalam sains (IPA) menunjukkan kategori baik dengan pesentase kategori 41.1% (48 siswa dari total 117 siswa). Kesenangan terhadap pembelajaran IPA berkategori baik dengan persentase 48.7% (57 siswa dari total 117 siswa).  Ketertarikan memperbanyak waktu belajar sains (IPA) berkategori baik dengan persentase kategori sebesar 41,9% (49 siswa dari total 117 siswa).
